Less than an hour away from the CBD is one of South Australia’s most loved destinations, Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.
Established by German immigrants in the 1830s, Hahndorf has kept much of its original European influence and today thrives as a tourist town that blends the old and new.
With easy proximity to Adelaide, weekend getaways are a no-brainer at Hahndorf. Visit a German pub, enjoy a gourmet lunch, or go on one of many walks among small wineries, orchards and farms that are synonymous with the Adelaide Hills.
