Discovery Parks - Port Augusta

A spot where the outback gives the coast a friendly nudge, just a decent podcast's drive from Adelaide. Discovery Parks - Port Augusta is the sort of place where you set up camp, and suddenly you're tossing up whether to go on an outback adventure in the Flinders Ranges or take a sailing jaunt in the Spencer Gulf.

For those who like their creature comforts, we're not just about campfires and starry nights. Our sidekick, the Acacia Ridge Motor Inn, has all the bells and whistles for a comfy stay, boosting 47 rooms available to occupy. It's got all the mod cons, like free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and even a gym. The motel is the perfect pit stop for anyone passing through, so grab your sense of adventure, and maybe a swimsuit, and come on down.

Campfires are not permitted at this park from 1 November 2026 - 30 April 2027.

Outside of these times, our Park Manager will monitor local conditions and may under their discretion ban campfires due to the current risk at that time.

You may also check with the park team when you arrive if campfires are permitted or banned during your stay.

Thank you for your understanding.
