Getting to and from the property
Discovery Resorts – Rottnest Island is an easy and scenic 1km walk from the ferry terminal through the heart of Rottnest Island Township.
As the island is predominantly vehicle-free, most guests enjoy making their way to the resort on foot while taking in the island along the way. We also offer transfers on request for guests with impaired mobility.
If you require mobility assistance or a transfer from the ferry to your accommodation, please let us know before you arrive so we can obtain the necessary approvals from the Rottnest Island Authority and make the appropriate arrangements.
Travelling with luggage? Simply check your bags in with your ferry provider, and the island's luggage delivery service will deliver them directly to the resort. As deliveries can take up to four hours after your arrival, we recommend packing a day bag with any essentials you'll need before your luggage arrives.
Please note that check-in is from 2pm and check-out is 10am, so keep these times in mind when booking your ferry.
