As the first eco-tent experience on Rottnest Island, we value nature, connection and minimal impact.

Sleep (almost) under the stars in a comfortable canvas eco-tent complete with ensuite bathroom and pillow topped bed. Explore boardwalks through to Pinky’s Rottnest Island, spend your days exploring the island’s incredible beaches, laze by the pool, and make friends around the BBQ.

Getting to and from the property

Discovery Resorts - Rottnest Island is an easy and scenic 1km walk from the ferry pier through the main Rottnest Island township.

As the island is predominantly vehicle-free, most guests enjoy exploring the island as they make their way to their accommodation on foot. We only provide transfers on request for guests with impaired mobility. 

If you have impaired mobility and require a transfer from the ferry to your accommodation, please let us know in advance so that we may obtain relevant permissions from the Rottnest Island Authority and make suitable arrangements.

If you have luggage, you can check it in with your ferry provider and it will be sent to Discovery by the Island’s delivery service. This can take up to 4 hours once you’ve arrived so we recommend packing a day bag with bathers and anything else you might want to use straight away.

Check-in for the property is 2pm and check-out is 10am, so please bear these timings in mind when booking the ferry.

 

Important Safety Message - Fire Safety: With a hot and dry summer ahead and potentially dangerous bushfire conditions, please be aware that fires are prohibited at Discovery properties from 1 October 2023 until the end of the fire season.
