Up for some tasty tucker? Boil a billy of hot tea over the campfire or grab a drink before dinner at the Saloon Car Bar. There’s a range of dining options to suit every traveller!

There’s breakfast, lunch and dinner options available during the March to October period at Discovery Resorts – Undara, as well as some basic food supplies and snacks to purchase from the bar as a grab and go option. For travellers staying in the tents and camping areas, there are also campfire pits and free gas barbeques available to use.

An outback experience you won’t want to miss is the Undara bush breaky, served daily at the Ringers’ Camp. A truly unique experience, as you sit on logs surrounded by bush, toast your own bread on the campfire while bacon and eggs are sizzling on the barbeque, and enjoy a freshly boiled pot of billy tea under the watchful eye of the resident Kookaburras, Currawongs, and Magpies.

Your outback food experience doesn’t stop there - head to the Fettler’s Iron Pot Bistro, a fully licensed bistro where you can enjoy authentic country cooking and homestyle, hearty meals. The lunch and dinner menu have been recreated in a modern style but will transport you back in time with rustic Australian flavours. Where possible, Discovery Resorts - Undara source local, fresh produce from the region. Think giant Georgetown sausages (bangers and mash, anyone?!), and desserts as sweet and homely like Grandma used to make.

For a timeless experience, be sure to stop in for a drink at the Saloon Car Bar. Within the historic old railway carriage, relax in the ambience of the carriage surrounded by bushland and native wildlife, while enjoying a refreshing drink or tea and coffee from the drinks range including Australian and imported beers, wines, and spirits or a hot espresso coffee.
