We're excited to host you in paradise!
Check-in is from 2:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, Pre Check-in paperwork can be completed from 11:00 AM and if your tent is ready earlier, we will notify you via SMS.
You're welcome to explore the island, relax on the beach, or dine at Pinky's Rottnest Island. Your Rottnest adventure starts the moment you arrive! See below for some arrival tips.
Getting to the Resort:
Discovery Resorts Rottnest Island is an easy and scenic 1km walk from the Main Jetty through the heart of Rottnest Island's settlement.
As the island is predominantly vehicle-free, most guests enjoy exploring the island as they make their way to the resort on foot.
Please note: We only provide transfers on request for guests with impaired mobility. Please ensure to arrange prior to arrival as transfers require approval from the Rottnest Rangers.
Luggage Delivery Service:
There’s no need for you to take your own bag onto the ferry or to Discovery Resorts – Rottnest Island as there is a luggage delivery service.

Luggage tags may be posted to you by the ferry provider, following booking your ferry, or you can collect them at the ferry terminal.

Please ensure that all luggage is labelled with the same name matching your accommodation reservation and attach the tags to your bags before boarding.

Your luggage will be securely stored and delivered directly to your tent, just like all accommodation on the island.
Please note: Luggage can take up to 4 hours after your arrival time, to be delivered to your tent, so we recommend packing a day bag with a towel, bathers, sunscreen, and anything else you’d like to use, as you may not have access until you check in.
