The Aroona Rooms feature a green-toned palette drawing on the surrounding landscape, walnut timber joinery, brushed nickel lighting and hand-painted artwork by South Australian artist Kristie Vaughan. The new glamping tents include internal fireplaces and lounge settings facing the Flinders Ranges views.

"This is just the first step in a broader repositioning of Wilpena. Our ambition is to reinvigorate it as one of Australia's most iconic regional experiences – delivered thoughtfully, and with deep respect for place," said G’day Group Chief Operating Officer, Matthew Lang.

The upgrades are part of a three-year investment plan for the property, which will also include enhancements to the welcome centre and arrival experience.
