Discovery Parks - Echuca opens new waterpark
Father Christmas is set to deliver for the kids at Discovery Parks – Echuca but his gift certainly won’t fit into a stocking this year.
A fabulous new waterpark and splash zone is set to open on 24 December, just in time to entertain the crowds of campers who flock to the park over the summer holidays.
Park Managers Peter and Judy Sellers said the new waterpark, with its tipping bucket, multiple spray zones, slides and a separate toddler splash zone, was bound to entertain kids all day long over the Christmas camping season.
“We’re so excited to be opening the latest family attraction to our beautiful park. The kids already love our resort pool, jumping pillow and playground and this is the icing on the cake.
“Whether guests are staying in a tent or in our deluxe cabins, they can live the resort lifestyle with these fabulous facilities,” Judy said.
Nestled under a canopy of river gums on the banks of the mighty River Murray, Discovery Parks – Echuca is an oasis for holiday makers particularly over the summer months, with waterskiing, boating, fishing and swimming among the favourite activities.
There’s plenty to do all year round in Echuca, which is home to the Echuca ports and historic paddle steamers, the National Holden Motor Museum and the Echuca-Moama wine trail.
And the park hosts a range of holiday activities over the peak season to entertain the kids, including pony rides, horse and cart rides, outdoor movies, go karting, jumping castles, face painting and more.
“The beauty of a holiday park holiday is that it really provides some good, clean fun for the whole family and an incentive to put down the technology and play,” Judy says.
