Discover a golden summer with potential to win $5K
Discovery Holiday Parks is signaling a bright summer ahead with the launch of its new ‘golden summer’ campaign this month, as the eastern states prepare to exit Covid lockdowns.
The campaign, to launch across outdoor, digital and radio channels ahead of Christmas, is designed to appeal to families, celebrating summer as ‘the golden child of mother nature’ – time for unwinding and making memories.
Discovery Parks CEO Grant Wilckens says the optimistic, care-free creative would remind people about the simple joys of regional travel – right on their doorsteps.
“Holiday parks are about disconnecting from the rat race and connecting with nature. They have all the touches of luxury modern travellers are looking for combined with old fashioned outdoor fun and room to breathe,” says Grant.
“It’s the perfect antidote to a winter where many families have been cooped up in the house and tied to screens for weeks at a time.”
“We want people to know that bookings are fully flexible with 48-hour no-fee cancellations so they don’t put off making holiday plans for fear it will be de-railed by a snap lockdown,” he says.
Travelers will also have the chance to win a number of ‘golden suitcases’ each with $5,000, hidden in Discovery Parks’ cabins throughout Australia.
