Road to Rainbows' Trip to Perth

DISCOVERY PARKS – PERTH

We just wrapped up 5 beautiful days spent in Perth. We made some epic memories and had some unforgettable experiences. We split our stay between two Discovery Parks – Coogee Beach and Perth Vineyards.

Here are our top picks for Perth

Rottnest Island

Catch the Rottnest Express ferry over to the island. Spend the entire day cycling and soaking up the views, wildlife and sheer beauty of Rottnest. Raw nature at its finest.

Lesmurdie Falls

This spot has some spectacular views of the city of Perth. Take the hike down to the base of the falls where you can chill out among the mist of the cascading waterfall.

Four Brothers Cidery

The good thing about staying among the Perth Vineyards was this unique family run cidery. We sampled many flavours including mango, coconut, ginger and passion fruit ciders. Definitely a place to visit and grab a drink on a warm sunny day.

Scarborough Beach

Our favourite spot in Perth. We took the coastal walking track from Scarborough to Trigg Beach. There are endless views the entire way. A great place to end your walk before heading back to Scarborough is Yelo Café. This super cool local surfy spot delivers beach views, great food and smoothies. We topped the day off with a sunset over Scarborough Beach followed by an awesome dinner at the James Squire bar.

Secret Garden

This hidden spot is Perth’s very own hobbit land with lush green swooping trees and vines creating a mystical atmosphere. We took a walk through this secret garden in Gwelup and captured some magical photos.
