Jacky and Bill Jones, sounds like a famous Hollywood couple doesn’t it?

While it may not be Tinseltown, the vineyard backdrop of Discovery Parks – Barossa Valley is definitely fit for a movie set and, these guys are the superstar park managers who make sure the lights, camera and action is always rolling for their guests.

The couple, along with their 11-year Jack Russel Minnie, have been with Discovery Parks for nearly four and a half years and just absolutely love having a park full of families, friends and fur children. Their favourite place in park to host some regional hospitality is at “the Main Stage, as it brings families and guests together for various events and activities”.

Jacky and Bill always make sure the park is in tip-top shape, as you never know who might just pop in and say G’DAY. “Chris Hemsworth came to visit with his family to play in the pool and waterpark during a visit to the region in 2018. They came to swim in the pool as it was an extremely hot day and their luxury accommodation didn’t have a waterpark for their 3 young children”, Jacky proudly says.

While Jacky is the hostest with the mostest, she also loves that the safari tent experience should work for everyone, whether it’s an adults-only weekend away or a trip with the whole family, recommending it as the perfect spot for “a getaway that’s just as fun for the kids as it is relaxing for the parents!”.
