WHAT: Every Sunday, regardless of the weather, a busy street in the heart of Hobart transforms into a bustling farmers’ market. Known to locals simply as ‘Farmy’, the market is all about Tassie produce and seasonal grub, connecting with the producers, and enjoying street food and a cracking cup of coffee. Trestle tables are laden with the island’s freshest produce, artisan foods, cool climate wine, boutique spirits, and healthy treats. They call it an ‘essential Sunday ritual’ and we couldn’t agree more.
