Getting to and from Discovery
Discovery – Rottnest Island is an easy and scenic 1km walk from the ferry jetty through the main Rottnest Island township. As the island is predominantly free of cars, we only provide transfers on request and most guests enjoy exploring the island as they make their way to their accommodation on foot. However, if you have mobility constraints and require a transfer from the ferry to your accommodation, please let us know so that we can put arrangements in place.
Upon boarding the ferry your luggage will be tagged and delivered to Discovery – Rottnest Island (as is the case for all accommodation providers on Rottnest). Therefore, there is no need for you to take your own bag between the ferry and our property. Please check in with your ferry provider on arrival at the terminal if you do not already have your baggage tags.
Check-in for the property is 2pm and check-out is 10am, so please bear these timings in mind when booking the ferry.
