If local, fresh food is what you’re after in a holiday, then the Greater Whitsundays Farmers’ Market is for you. Located at Bluewater Quay, the markets are just a 5min drive from our park and are held weekly on Wednesday mornings (6:30-10:30am). If lounging on the sand is your kind of holiday, Harbour Beach is a must-visit. It’s adjacent to the Marine Reef development and is a favourite amongst tourists and locals. The beach is seasonally patrolled and includes a pet-friendly area but be sure to keep your pooch on a leash. Grab some fish and chips, and sit by the water or make the most of the shaded picnic tables nearby.
Nestled just 45mins away from our park is Cape Hillsborough National Park. Known as one of the most striking places on the Central Queensland Coast, Cape Hillsborough is filled with life, from the rainforest to the beaches, and everywhere in between.
