Gather around the campfire at these Discovery Holiday Parks

9 Mar 2022

One of our favourite things to do in the great outdoors is gather around a campfire.

Sitting with loved ones by the orange glow of a crackling fire is an outdoor activity you'll never regret; sharing stories, playing music and laughing long into the night.

If this sounds like something you would do on your perfect getaway, enjoy our state-by-state list of parks with campfires where you achieve exactly that!

NSW  |  QLD  |  SA  |  VIC  |  TAS  |  WA |  NT

Before you read on, it’s important to acknowledge a few common sense rules that always apply to fire!

  • Never leave children unattended around a fire.
  • Always check with our friendly park managers before lighting any fire inside our park.
  • As a courtesy, we always recommend checking in with your caravan or camping neighbours before you get a fire-pit going.
  • Always clear the area around your firepit of any twigs, branches or leaves to avoid any potential incidents.
  • If a park is not listed below, this means no firepits are allowed.
  • Only raised fire-pits such as braziers, chimineas, or steel drums are allowed across all locations.
