Beaches & Relaxing Coastal Walks
We are famous for our pristine waterways, secluded beaches and coastal walking trails and over 190kms of absolute stunning coastline. Take a relaxing stroll on the beach, have a dip, grab a boogie board and hit the sand dunes, or take the 4WD along the beach stretches. For the more adventurous, a sunset horse-back ride along the white sands with Horse About Tours could be for you. 
Great Lakes Food Trail
One of the little-known gems of Forster and the Barrington Coast is the incredible food experiences on offer. Take time when you are here to explore the Great Lakes Food Trail and enjoy local wineries, artisan bakery, boutique breweries, natural products, giftwares and more. You can even pre-order awesome goodies and have them waiting for you in your cabin on arrival thaks to local business Farm to Fridge. 
Village Drives & Boutique Shopping
Take a scenic tour and visit beautiful heritage towns and villages, offering a glimpse a country life. Cafes, boutique and vintage shopping with a country atmosphere: what more could you ask for?
Get Back to Nature
With an abundance of national parks, state forests, nature reserves and conservation areas, nature lovers will be spoilt for choice. Just an hour’s drive away you can experience the state’s tallest single-drop waterfall, Ellenborough Falls, at 200m and the tallest tree at the Grandis picnic area.
Big & Little Kid Fun
There is so much to do for kids of all ages! From dolphin and whale spotting to water golf and putt putt, right through to big sand dunes for boogie boarding and off-road biking. Or head out to enjoy nearby Big Buzz Fun Park or cuddle a Tassie Devil joey at Aussie Ark in Barrington Tops.
Fishing
Deep sea, river and lakes, rock fishing, even give prawning a go! Great Lakes Fishing and Tackle is the one stop fishing shop and Luke will be happy to share the latest fishing tips and best local spots to cast a line.
Water Sports
Fun on the water is what we’re all about, from action-packed water skiing to laidback kayaking. Perhaps stand up paddle board yoga is more your style or simply sitting, relaxing and taking in the sunsets - our rivers and lakes system offers it all. 
Whales & Dolphins
Always keep one eye on the water as the chance of seeing dolphins is pretty high! Stroll along the foreshore, climb the lookouts and don’t forget whale season each year for spotting Humpback mothers and calves. To get up close and personal or relax on the lake maybe a cruise is more your style. We recommend local suppliers Amaroo Cruises and Free Spirit Cruises.
Something for Everyone
Fine arts, crafts and museums are waiting to be explored, including the largest collections of motorcycles at the Australian Motorcycle Museum. And of course, let’s not forget great golf courses for those looking for a hit.
