Discovery Parks, Australia’s largest owner and operator of holiday parks, is thrilled to announce some exciting new developments at one of its signature parks, Discovery Parks - Byron Bay, NSW.
The investment includes 18 brand new two-bedroom cabins, a state-of-the-art camp kitchen and a kids club/community centre. The modern cabins are able to accommodate up to six people which makes the park a perfect base for family visitors and corporate travellers alike.
The alfresco camp kitchen will have three well-catered kitchen stations, commercial fridges and a seating area on the perimeter where guests can overlook the scenic lake. The kids club will be a multifunctional space which can be divided into outdoor and indoor spaces. It can also be transformed into a conference room with AV equipment available for movies and presentations.
“Located just two kilometres from the seaside town of Byron Bay, our park has always been a favourite among local and long distance travellers. With these new features, we are confident that our customers will have an even better experience when visiting Byron Bay,” Park Manager of Discovery Parks – Byron Bay, Troy Hull said.
This development is part of Discovery Parks’ $14 million investment across six properties in the lead up to Christmas. It follows a recent announcement from the business around its new structure and focus on further investing in its people, place and process, part of a strategic plan to support the business for scalable growth to 2020 and beyond.
“This investment is us putting money where our mouth is. All the developments are built on our extensive customer knowledge. We are confident that they will fulfil the demand at each location and create an even better experience for our customers,” said CEO of Discovery Parks, Grant Wilckens.
Discovery Parks - Byron Bay will continue to operate as usual with the new developments now launched.
