What Have You Got Lined Up For Your Australia Day 2016?

26 Jan 2016

Are you spending your Australia Day with us at one our holiday parks and enjoying all the things Australians are renowned for in the one place? BBQs, camping in the great outdoors and soaking up the sun at the local beach or onsite pool.

Snags on the Barbie

Nothing beats a BBQ in the sunshine to celebrate Australia Day at one of our holiday parks. The smell of onions and sausages sizzling on the BBQ, the laughter of the kids splashing in the pool and the adults enjoying a few beers in the Summer sun.

Great outdoors

Amazing wildlife, beautiful beaches and vast natural beauty is what Australia is all about. Our holiday parks are located near beautiful beaches, lakes and rivers, there’s no better place to set up camp. Can you imagine somewhere better than the pier in Hervey Bay, just a short walk from our Hervey Bay accommodation, to celebrate all things Australian – we can’t.

Sleep under the stars

Waking up to the natural alarm clock of the native birds is something many of us take for granted. With a land mass almost 50 per cent greater than Europe, you won’t find yourself running out of room to run around and enjoy the great outdoors. Stay with us at our Discovery Parks - Forster, and make sure to say hi to Skippy (or his relative) if you see him hopping by on the beautiful nearby beaches. Happy-Australia-Day!

Watersports

Whether you’re a surfer, water skier, or love to take the boat out for the day, we have holiday parks around Australia that will keep you and your mates entertained on Australia Day or any other day of the year. There’s something quintessentially Australian about a day on the water.

It’s all about the tunes

Triple J Hottest 100 is one of our favourite things about Australia Day. Turn them on and up whilst you enjoy the great outdoors.
