We are very excited to announce this week we welcomed a new park in to the Discovery Parks family, Discovery Parks – Tannum Sands!
Just a few hundred metres from the surf and on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef, Tannum Sands is an idyllic beachside getaway.
Located on 4.75 hectares of bushland the park comprises 186 accommodation sites made up of eight deluxe villas, seven studio villas, 14 duplex cabins, six ensuite cabins, 16 ensuite sites, 103 powered sites, 24 unpowered sites and eight permanent sites, as well as two amenity blocks, a camp kitchen and barbecue areas, a resort style swimming pool with spa, a half tennis court and a playground.
The seaside community of Tannum Sands and Boyne island, within walking distance of the park, is just 20km’s south of Gladstone. With local shops and cafes, recreational facilities, fishing spots and more it has plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Tucked away on the outskirts of town, right on the eco-friendly Millennium Esplanade, Discovery Parks – Tannum Sands provides a tranquil escape from the every day.
