EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 2019 – DON’T MISS OUT!!
With so many new things, additions and improvements in 2018, we figured why stop there! The new 3-bedroom Heysen Cabins that rounded out 2018’s improvement program, opened just before Christmas and they are already proving to be extremely popular, as well as our maze and 8 metre slippery slide. New facilities such as BBQ's, powered sites, new ensuites and new laundry were built as a result of feedback from our visitors…..However, to ensure we keep raising the bar and exceeding our guests’ expectations, the planned 2019 upgrade program is set to be even bigger, better and more exciting, so make sure you book early so you don’t miss out and come and enjoy the fun for the whole family. .
Whilst actual opening dates will be communicated closer to the times, indicative times for the following exciting new developments are as follows: -
ALL NEW “RECREATION PRECINCT” – FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY AND ALL AGES
NEW “Pump track” - May/June 2019
From the early stages of riding a balance bike or scooter to the “hard to keep entertained” teenagers and the adults who never grow up, a Modular Pump track is the best fun for absolutely everyone. So…. bring your bikes, scooters, skateboards or blades and wheel your way around our new 48m long track. Hours of fun for the whole family.
NEW Double Waterslide Tower- July/August 2019
Twist and turn your way down our 2 new permanent 3-metre-high waterslide towers that will be situated next to our pool in the location of the existing playground (that will be relocated to the rear of the park with the Pump Track)
NEW 2 bedroom fully accessible “Hindmarsh” Cabins overlooking new waterslides- August/September 2019
Modern, 2-bedroom cabins sleeping up to 5 people overlooking our new water-slides and mini golf course. With large front decks, enjoy a commanding view over all of the action! Sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch your kids having fun! In addition, these cabins have been designed so as they are fully accessible for all persons including people with mobility issues. No stairs, modified bathrooms, and plenty of room to get around if you are in a wheel-chair or use a walking frame, these cabins cater for everyone. With their great location, large deck, full kitchen (including oven) and modern fit out, these will be highly sought after by all demographics.
NEW Mini-Golf Course- August/September 2019
Fun for the “hole” family. This 9-hole course will be constructed weaving around the existing swimming pool and jumping pillow. Overlooked by our new Hindmarsh cabins and adjacent to the existing Newland and Murray cabins, this will be a great addition to our ever-expanding recreation precinct.
NEW Premium powered sites overlooking water-slide/jumping pillow etc... -September/October 2019
These large 8m wide by 12m deep sites will be located directly across from our main recreation precinct. Watch the kids at play on the water-slides or bouncing on the jumping pillow without even having to leave your site.
NEW Disabled bathroom for powered/unpowered sites- November 2019 (Subject to Council approval)
We are still waiting on approval for this project, but we are hoping to build and extend an amenities building next to the jumping pillow and create a fully compliant accessible bathroom for guests with mobility issues. This block will be easily accessible from the new powered sites in this same area.
