Do you dream of having your own holiday home?
Want to enjoy your own piece of paradise on the doorstep of the mighty Murray River? Then consider purchasing your own new cabin build at Discovery Parks Echuca, Horseshoe Lagoon, Maidens Inn Moama or Moama West.
This is your opportunity to holiday your way and unpack and unwind any time you please. You’ll never again fear those dreaded words “BOOKED OUT” again.
Specific sites within each park location have been allotted for this build and fully finished cabins are available from $149,576.
To express your interest or for further information, please fill out the form below.
What is an annual?
You own the cabin build on the site and pay an annual fee to occupy the site for holiday use. Your annual agreement allows access to your site all year round*, so you can come and go as you please while having access to park facilities.
What are the benefits of being an annual?
You don't have to pay extra for peak times or worry about your favourite holiday spot being booked out.
For a normal holiday home, you would pay for council rates, land taxes, water, sewerage, and, if you are in a unit complex, you would also pay body corporate fees.
You won’t need to spend hour fixing up the garden or cleaning the pool, as all grounds maintenance work is included in the cost and Discovery Park staff will maintain the common areas. All you need to do is unpack and unwind.
You also have the peace of mind that someone is always onsite if anything goes wrong - what happens if your hot water system bursts while you are away, or if you forget you have left the air-conditioner on? What if you drive all the way there and you realise you have forgotten your keys?
You can build fantastic long-lasting friendships with your neighbours, and the kids can play, while the adults relax.
You will also no longer have the added expense, or stress, of putting your dog in a kennel. Discovery Parks Horseshoe Lagoon & Maidens Inn Moama welcome your four-legged friend. As an annual, you can bring your dog on holidays any time of the year.
What are the rules surrouding being an annual?
In NSW, annuals are governed by the Holiday Parks (Long-term Casual Occupation) Act 2002. Annuals are only allowed to use the property as a holiday home and occupy the property for up to 30 consecutive days and a maximum of 180 days in a 12-month period.
In Victoria, annuals are governed by the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 and the Residential Tenancies (Caravan Parks and Movable Dwellings Registration and Standards) Regulations 2010.
