Some Cabins, Seasonally
Lake Argyle Resort
Just a short drive south of Lake Kununurra in Western Australia’s East Kimberley region, Lake Argyle is Australia’s second-largest man-made freshwater lake.
Surrounded by some of the Kimberley’s most celebrated attractions, you can experience this incredible part of Australia through boat cruises, wildlife tours and family-friendly activities. Full and Half-Day trips include the Bungle Bungle Ranges, Ord River Gorges and exploring the remote bays of the stunning Lake Argyle Islands.
Made famous by breathtaking views from its infinity pool, Discovery Resorts – Lake Argyle has a variety of accommodation options to suit all types of travellers. From Unpowered Camping Sites to Deluxe 4-bedroom Lakeview Cabins, all guests have access to the park’s facilities which include the swimming pool, family-friendly restaurant with beer garden, and a small general store for guests’ convenience. The general store, swimming pool (at a cost) and restaurant are all open to members of the public.
The park has well-maintained amenities throughout, extending to a Camp Kitchen, Laundry Room and shared BBQ areas. Aside from organised tours and cruises, several do-it-yourself things to do are accessible from the park. These include kayaking and canoeing, fishing, mountain biking and bushwalking. Simply ask a member of staff who they will be more than happy to arrange equipment hire or provide you with the right information and maps.
