Let's start with the location of Discovery Parks – Busselton: an easy-peasy 3-hour drive from Perth. That's just enough time for everyone to ask, "are we there yet?" about seven times.
The Margaret River wine region is just a cork's pop away, and the park has direct beach access to Geographe Bay. Have a dip in the morning, a sip in the afternoon, and you've got yourself a day well spent.
The park itself is not to be outdone by its surroundings. You've got powered sites for the caravan cruisers, glamping tents for those who enjoy their creature comforts, and cabins for the 'give me a solid roof' crowd.
If you've got little adventurers tagging along, you're in luck. There's an indoor heated pool plus a playground that's got more climbing, swinging, and sliding than a circus trapeze act.
So, whether you're a nature newbie, a seasoned traveller, or somewhere in between, Discovery Parks – Busselton is the sort of base camp that makes you feel like you've hit the holiday jackpot.
Campfires are not permitted at this park from 15 October 2026 - 30 April 2027.
Outside of these times, our Park Manager will monitor local conditions and may under their discretion ban campfires due to the current risk at that time.
You may also check with the park team when you arrive if campfires are permitted or banned during your stay.
