You know you’re ‘out bush’ when your nearest neighbours are kangaroos and cockatoos. At Discovery Parks – Lake Kununurra, it’s not just a holiday park; it’s 10 acres of Australian bushland right at the edge of the lake with a pool and playground as the cherry on top.
But it's not all outback and tumbleweeds; there's a slice of luxury too. We've got accommodation that ranges from grassy sites to comfy cabins. You could say we have glampers or a camper well and truly covered here.
As for Lake Kununurra. It’s not just a body of water; it's a community hub, where swimmers, anglers, bird watchers, and wakeboarders alike can soak up the pristine waters of the lake, their way.

Campfires are not permitted across our parks from 1 November 2025 - 30 April 2026.
Outside of these times, our property managers will monitor local conditions and may under their discretion ban campfires due to the current risk at that time.
You may also check with the park team when you arrive if campfires are permitted or banned during your stay.
