Encounters with local wildlife are a common occurrence in the grounds at Discovery Parks - Kangaroo Island, and animals regularly seen include koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, and an extensive range of birdlife.

Fire Safety: With a hot and dry summer ahead and potentially dangerous bushfire conditions, please be aware that fires are prohibited at Discovery properties from 1 October 2023 until the end of the fire season.
Electric Scooters (eScooters): Guests may only operate an eScooter in parks where state laws permit the operation of an eScooter in public places, outside of an approved eScooter trial. We advise that you consider state laws before arriving in park.
