As part of the Capricorn Coast National Park, this walking track is a moderate 2.3km circuit. Climb up to Turtle Lookout to see the namesake's creatures swimming about in the bay down below a enjoy panoramic views of the Keppel Bay Islands. Bring a picnic lunch: the vista is simply stunning.
Head on down to Emu Park on the 3rd Sunday of each month and visit one of the many stalls (over a hundred!) for a bargain. Support the locals and buy some fresh produce, arts & crafts and novelty items. Profits made from the Emu Park Lions Markets helps support local charities and the maintenance of the park itself.

A 6 minute drive from the park, begin your Central Queensland holiday at the marina. Protected by Double Head National Park, have a look at the dozens of docked boats and yachts of all sizes. Tip: stay at Coolwaters, Yeppoon in August to check out the annual B2K Yacht Race. Starting on Moreton Bay, the yachts travel 348 nautical miles north to finish at the marina. It's surely a thrill to watch!
