HERVEY BAY, QUEENSLAND: Discovery Parks’ Hervey Bay properties are being re-named ahead of the 2018 whale watching season, making it easier for holiday-makers to book a stay at the popular parks.
Discovery Parks - Fraser Coast will now be known as Discovery Parks - Fraser Street Hervey Bay, while Discovery Parks - Hervey Bay will now be called Discovery Parks - Boat Harbour Drive Hervey Bay.
“As the whale watching capital of Australia and gateway to Fraser Island, Hervey Bay is a must-visit destination and home to two different Discovery Parks,” said Discovery Holiday Parks’ Founder and CEO, Grant Wilckens.
“New more specific names for each of these properties will make it easier for guests to decide which they would like to book,” Mr Wilckens said.
Discovery Parks – Fraser Street Hervey Bay, is the ultimate family Park with a bouncing pillow, two swimming pools, a spa, playground, tennis court and basketball hoop, along with all the modern amenities you would expect from a Discovery Park.
Discovery Parks - Boat Harbour Drive Hervey Bay, is the perfect choice for those seeking a blissfully low-key getaway. Just minutes away from the Fraser Island departure point, the Park boasts a serene swimming pool, and a BBQ area nestled into a stunning garden setting.
Until 30 June, both Parks have standard and economy cabins available for just $99 for a stay between 22 Apr and 27 Sep – peak whale watching season.
“While they now have new names, our Hervey Bay properties are the same great parks in one of the best parts of Australia.”
“Fraser Island is a stone’s throw away, with kilometres of pristine beaches and rugged cliffs, while Hervey Bay itself is home to a postcard-worthy Esplanade dotted with restaurants and boutiques. The Bay is a water-lover’s paradise with fishing, kayaking, diving, snorkelling and jet skiing just some of the activities on offer,” said Mr Wilckens.
