Galleries & Museums

South Australia has a vibrant arts scene. A series of contemporary and indigenous art galleries paint the city. Visit the Art Gallery of South Australia for their exhibitions of international and local artists. Or learn about regional Australian history and be a curious cat at the South Australian Museum.

Wine & Dine

Dabble in African food in the Western Suburbs, grab fine and fresh produce at the Adelaide Central Markets, or stroll through the city to find all sorts of knooks! There are hidden spots to grab a coffee, side streets lined with European style bars, or make your way down Rundle Street for some of Adelaide's best dining.

Beaches

You will rarely be over-crowded on SA beaches. Adelaide is a coastal city, which means we're nearby some of the most spectacular sand the state has to offer. Surfers can catch a wave, sailors can take out the boat, and the bronzed can finish up a day baking on the beach with boardwalk ice cream.

Adelaide Oval

An iconic establishment of the city, the Adelaide Oval has been recently renovated - and it looks unbelievable. It hosts AFL games for the Crows fans, cricket for the historic Ashes, and even boxing. Experience a tour of this state-of-the-art stadium or guided climb of the roof to witness breathtaking views of the city.

Festivals

Adelaide may be known as the city of churches, but how about that South Australia is the festival state? Dance, Cabaret, Comedy, Writing and more. Witness performances from internationally and nationally acclaimed artists and actors at the renown Adelaide Fringe Festival. Oh, the choices!
