Family favourite South Coast holiday park, Discovery Parks - Narooma Beach, has unveiled a fresh new look for 2024, headlined by a state-of-the-art adventure playground precinct and revitalised accommodation offerings.

After being acquired by Australia’s leading regional accommodation provider, G’day Group, in late 2022, the park joined the company’s national network of more than 80 Discovery Parks and has since undergone a significant transformation to cement its position as accommodation of choice for families visiting the coastal hotspot.

Accommodation facilities, including cabins and glamping tents, have undergone a comprehensive interior makeover, including new furniture, carpets and a fresh coat of paint, bringing a fresh and inviting atmosphere for guests.

However, the star of the show is the new adventure playground precinct, which was officially unveiled to guests just before Christmas and has already proven to be a resounding success.

The playground, which is the largest in the Discovery Parks network, features a 10-metre climbing tower, two flying foxes, a water play area and and a dynamic climbing play wall. The playground precinct also includes a BMX pump track, bouncing pillow, tennis court, swimming pool, direct beach access, and a dedicated smaller playground for younger children.

“We’ve had some fantastic feedback about the playground from our guests and families are loving the diversity of amenities now on offer at the park,” said Discovery Parks – Narooma Beach Park Manager Tod Sutherland.

“We’re privileged to offer one of the best beachside locations along the South Coast with direct access to Handkerchief Beach and these new upgrades only add the experience and will help attract more visitors to the region.”

The playground’s climbing tower is also soon to feature a giant slide, after it was approved by Council last week. The slide is expected to be installed within the next week.

In addition to the playground unveiling, Discovery Parks - Narooma Beach offers a diverse range of accommodation options. Whether planning a family reunion, a getaway for two, or camping under the stars, the park offers:

  • Deluxe 3 Bedroom Cabins: Ideal for large groups, accommodating up to 8 guests.
  • Glamping Tents: For those looking to get back to nature without sacrificing the creature comforts.
  • Diverse Cabin options: Standard, Superior, and Deluxe cabins catering to any family’s needs.
  • Campsite options: Powered and unpowered sites to accommodate camping enthusiasts.
  • COMING SOON - Deluxe Safari Tents: looking for something more luxurious, keep an eye out for our new Deluxe Safari Tents, bookable soon.
