G'DAY Loves Streaky Bay

Crystal clear waters, long sandy stretches, abundant seafood and activities galore. Streaky Bay is an emerging stretch of South Australia’s stunning coastline. The collection of nature trails in the bay are a must-experience for the family to take in pristine seascapes.

For animal-lovers, visit Point Labatt Conservation Park to see the only permanent colony of Australian sea lions on the mainland. A viewing platform lets you watch these happy critters swim and splash from 50 metres above sea level. Fishermen-and-women are spoilt for choice at Streaky, too, with an abundance of top spots to snag yourself some King George whiting, blue swimmer crab or snapper.

You’ll be a busy holiday bee in this buzzing coastal township, with events happening throughout the year. The community’s popular Family Fish Day is held in January, and you can taste the coast and the region’s world famous oysters at the Taste of Eyre Peninsula festival in April. More of a history buff? The town is home to three history museums, so you’ll be sure to keep yourself entertained.

Rest your head at Discovery Holiday Parks - Streaky Bay Foreshore and start your adventure.
