Discovery Parks, Australia’s largest owner and operator of lifestyle parks is further expanding its portfolio by inking a 15-year management contract for Streaky Bay Foreshore Tourist Park. Discovery Parks will take over the management of this iconic beachfront property from 1 July 2017.

Located in the picturesque Eyre Peninsula, South Australia, the park will now be called Discovery Parks - Streaky Bay Foreshore. Known for its superb whiting fishing, Streaky Bay has cemented itself as family favourite with repeat visitation across generations.

With so much to offer, the management agreement focuses on further improving customer experience through some infrastructure development while maintaining its grass roots appeal.  “We are very excited to have Streaky Bay Foreshore Tourist Park join the Discovery Parks family. The park is adored by locals and travellers alike. Being in Streaky Bay, the park shares the same community spirit as the town. We want to preserve that and provide visitors great new facilities. Our goal is simple - ensuring the park remains a favourite among locals and visitors for years to come.” CEO of Discovery Parks, Grant Wilckens, said

With an impressive four star review on Trip Advisor, the park is perfect for a coastal getaway and a great base for interstate visitors traveling across the Nullarbor or down to Australia’s only permanent sea lion colony at Point Labatt.

The property features a suite of facilities and a range of accommodation types from powered sites to executive ensuite cabins. For adventure lovers, it makes an ideal base for enjoying water activities – swimming, sailing, fishing or surfing.

The park will continue to operate as usual with exciting developments in the near future – stay tuned!
