Bub is the Word: February Activities

Posted by Discovery Parks on 8 Feb 2017

School might be back, but that doesn’t mean we are all free of our parenting duties. For many of us, the start of the school year is a chance to get our young pre-schoolers out & about into the sun without the worry of the hustling & bustling big kids.

From Teddy Bear picnics to kids crafts, there’s a range of tailored activities to break up your mid-week routine and encourage the sensory development of your little ones.

We often focus on our physical health: eating the right food, getting outside to exercise, and going to the doctor when you're sick. But our relationships shouldn't be swept to the side either. It can be challenging to find the time to sit down and spend real time with family. Playing with your toddler is just as important for their brain development as it is for both of your happiness!

At select Discovery Parks throughout New South Wales and Queensland, there are mid-week activities designed for both Mums and Bubs to interact and engage in a social environment… oh, and it’s FREE!

And there’s always something for Mum. Morning teas, yoga classes and pizza nights (no stresses: we can even help with the cooking, too). Remember, you matter, too. Look after yourself with a holiday to one of our picture perfect parks and create moments of smiles & giggles with your tiny tot.
