Permanent Positions
ASSISTANT MANAGERS - Whyalla, SA
We currently have an opportunity for full-time Assistant Managers at our property in Whyalla, South Australia. The successful couple will provide assistance and support to the Park Managers, and take on responsibility for the smooth functioning of the Park in the absence of the Managers. Knowledge, skills and attributes required in an Assistant Manager include:
A focus on providing excellent customer service, at all times.
- Comprehensive handyman and/or solid office skills are essential; a trade certificate will be highly regarded.
- Both must be computer literate.
- Flexible attitude to work, and work hours.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Good people and relationship building skills.
- Prepared to work with Park Managers in a rostered hour’s system that will include after hours duties on weekends and during school holidays.
Common tasks performed by Assistant Managers include but are not limited to:
- Grounds maintenance, gardening and general upkeep
- Monitoring of guest accounts
- Reception duties, answering the telephone, check-ins/outs
- Housekeeping
- Stock control
- Park activity organization and participation
- Staff supervision
- Night patrols & being available for after-hours call-outs
